The Latin name of the herb is Turiones Pini.

 


Description:

evergreen pine wood, high up to 40 m. The bark at the bottom of the stem is dark gray and the top is reddish brown. The leaves are needle-shaped, located two in the tufts of vagina, up to 7-8 cm long, gray-green. Colors are same-sex. Blooms May - June.

 


Chemical composition:

essential oil (pinen), diterpenes, bitter substances, vitamin C, K, B, provitamin A, resins, mineral salts, pinnacrine, pinicacrine, tannins, lemon.

 


Application:

Internal - in respiratory tract illness (angina, bronchitis, catarrh, cough, shortness of breath) as an expectorant and antiseptic agent, urinary tract diseases with kidney stones, inflammation of the gall bladder. External: for gargle, inhalations, cold rubbing, aromatic baths.

 


Usage: internally - one cup of coffee three times a day. External: inhalations.


Preparation: Pour 50 g of pine nuts in 1 liter of water until the water remains half, after cooling, with sugar or honey. For inhalations, 20 g of pine tips are placed in 250 ml of boiling water.
